Seeing is Believing. (All life's riddles are answered in the movies")

None so much draw and reach a mutual understanding of and from English language use as does the modern film or movie. Concomitant with image and sound as in often overstated mood music and spoken English words, the modern block buster, family film or television programme offers it's viewer and almost complete, albeit imagined observation of English  language use in real life situations. A real English speaking life.

from it's onset, film with use of image had and has long become for the many, the main arbiter of the public voice (Vox populai) so much so as in these movies even to creating these ways of English language development and it's understanding.

Most surprisingly, one of the first cases of moving pictures ala film being used to shape a viewer's reasonings was sans English words and sound. This first use of moving pictures was to win an English wager about horses flying.   The bet or wager was a consideration on the possibility of a horse when running as having all of its hooves off of the ground at any time of the run. With a series of photographs shot as the horse ran past, which were later ran side by side in a spinning rotoscope, the flying horse with all hooves off of the ground was shown and the wager was won..
